STICKY BUNS STRASBURG AMISH STYLE

1 c. milk, 70-80°

¼ c. water

¼ c. butter, softened

1 egg

1 tsp. salt

4 c. bread flour

¼ c. instant vanilla pudding

1 Tbsp. sugar

1 Tbsp. sugar

1 Tbsp. dry yeast


Cinnamon Mixture:

¾ c. butter

1 c. packed brown sugar

2 tsp. cinnamon


Frosting:

4 oz cream cheese

¼ c. butter

1 ½ c. powdered sugar

1 ½ tsp. milk

½ tsp. vanilla


Mix water, milk, sugar and yeast. Set aside. In a mixing bowl, mix butter, egg, salt, and pudding, gradually adding 2 c. flour, then yeast mixture and remaining flour. Roll out dough. Put cinnamon mixture on top and roll together. Cut into 1” slices. Cover and let rise for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes in 9” x 13” pan.
