LANCASTER STYLE SAUSAGE STRATA

6 slices white bread

1 lb bulk pork sausage

1 tsp prepared mustard

¾ c. shredded Swiss cheese

3 eggs

1 ¼ c. milk

⅔ c. half and half

Pinch pepper

Place bread in a greased 9” x 13” pan. In a skillet, cook sausage until no longer pink and drain. Stir in mustard. Sprinkle sausage and cheese evenly over bread. In a bowl, beat eggs, milk, cream and pepper. Pour over cheese. Bake uncovered at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until set. Yield: 6-8 servings.
