BLUEBERRY STUFFED FRENCH TOAST
8 slices bread
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
½ c. blueberry pie filling
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. milk
¾ tsp. cinnamon
¼ tsp. salt
½ tsp sugar
Powdered sugar
Spread 4 slices of bread with 4 oz. cream cheese and 1-2 Tbsp. blueberry pie filling per slice. Put plain slices and prepared slices together and set aside. Mix eggs, milk, cinnamon, salt and sugar together. Dip sandwiches into egg mixture and brown on both sides over medium heat on a buttered griddle. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve immediately with syrup. Yield: 4 servings.
